Born and raised in Newark, NJ and aspires to be a talk show host. He graduated from Malcolm X Shabazz High School - Newark, NJ 1999 and Rutgers University - New Brunswick, NJ 2004 and was the student speaker of his college class. "Shout out to Livingston College." He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Media Studies and minored in Communication.
One of his favorite places to go is Atlantic City and he loves living life. “I'm proud to be who I am today,” says Tareek. "It hasn't been easy. Life throws obstacles in your way. Keep in mind, obstacles don't deter you. You deter yourself. Obstacles challenge you, tempt you to drop out, or even make you go another way. Nevertheless, the finish line is always there.”

L.A started working for Emmis in March of 2006. She is a helping hand to not only the promotions department but for the production team as well. You can catch her on the weekends assisting 98.7's weekend girl, Tanya Simpson. Besides Kiss Fm, L.A juggles a full time job at Music Choice as well as keeping herself active in the community with her sorority- Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Young, tenacious and vivacious are 3 of many words that describes the dynamics of this diva. Remember her face, because you will see it at the top!!!

Charlie Brown an Oscar winner in the making! He's produced and directed numerous college documentaries and shows, host's several college live shows, and is an employee of 98.7 Kiss FM's elite R&B station. When he's not pointing a camera in your direction he's getting you the most exclusive footage only seen on 987kissfm.com He's currently working on a career toward being an on air personality on TV and a cinematographer. So be on the look out when you see him in the streets he's got a charismatic smile and a lot of great advice on how to get your foot in the door. Words of wisdom "G.O.D. 4 Life"
Superman Sam was born and raised in Long Island, NY aka Strong Island, "I'm the biggest guy on the team. I'm 6"6, 250 pounds (He's the Shaq of our street ream) so you'll notice me. I graduated not to long ago from SUNY Old Westbury with a degree in Media Communications. I'm a people person the community man with tons of energy, and I love nothing more than to make you laugh. Which is why they call me "Superman Sam" because I leap tall building and have dynamite energy. I've been with Kiss FM for the last 2 years and even though I've mastered the radio business my future goals are to master the television industry as well. So make sure you stay tuned because you will be seeing me around a whole lot.
A.K.A Manny is from Queens, NY. A recent graduate from Saint John's University with a degree in Communication Arts and Business Management. "Working with Kiss gives me the opportunity to interact with winners and listeners at events and throughout the community. I love to interact with different personalities and people. As a street team member I learn from those around me and apply what I learn when I am presented with new challenges and situations.
Born and raised on Long Island's north shore Michelle's energetic and outgoing personality is probably the first thing you will notice about her. She's a soon to be graduate of St. John's University in May 2008 with her BA in Communications and Public Relations. Michelle is gearing up to pursue graduate studies in international communications which supports her international background and love for travel and culture. As a recent edition to the Kiss Street team, she is thrilled to be part of a network of friends and colleagues who share her passion for music. When out on the street michelle always looks forward to interacting with our Kiss listeners across the tri-state. So if you see her out in the street show her some love.
Raised in Jamaica, Queens all her life, Ashley serves as positive asset to the Emmis Communications. All of her hard work and dedication as an intern at Kiss FM led her to become an employee for the Street Team. She attends SUNY College at Old Westbury where she is an honor student and she plays a leadership role on her campus as a Resident Assistant. Throughout Ashley's young career, she has accomplished a great deal and she is currently apart of the INROADS organization. Ashley is determined to strive for excellence and she is quite confident in knowing that she will become successful in years to come. What she enjoys the most about working for Emmis is the culture of the company. “Everyone is very supportive of one another and we work together not only as a team, but as a family.”
Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, LaJune moved to Brooklyn on her own as an ambitious teenager in order to continue her studies at Hunter College. While going to school full time LaJune held down a full time job while also managing to juggle internships at Sony BMG Music, and VH1 where she went on to do freelance work on two live shows. Having recently received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media studies Radio/Television Broadcasting with a minor in Theater, LaJune looks forward to gaining as much hands on experience as possible and aspires to one day have her own media consultant company. While she continues to hustle to make her impact in the industry behind the scenes, LaJune is also a talented Rapper, Singer, and Songwriter, having appeared on both Bet's 106th and Park, where she was the very first female inducted into the freestyle friday hall of fame, as well as MTV's TRL where she was interviewed by rap sensation Chingy. LaJune is definitely on her grind this year working part time for Kiss FM as a promotions assistant, and holding it down as the Marketing/PR Coordinator at the world Famous Apollo Theater. "I love what I do and give all thanks to God for all that he has done, is doing, and is going to do for me in the future, with him all things are possible!"
I need no introduction ...But for those of you Who don't know me I'm Jen. Alot of people who do know me...they know that I'm an educated, determined, and a humble female... I am Well rounded and I never sell myself short... I can do anything... No matter where I am I will do great in this world ... I jump in and out the party scene.... As a young child I have developed an ear for phenomenal music . Hits is what I call it !! Born a Native NEW YORKER, I was introduced to a world of music. Working for EMMIS Has introduced me to some of the worlds greatest MCs, and singers of this time. I see myself doing greater things with the radio industry. I also have a production team we do great events from trips to upscale parties and Fashion show's. I have held it down for the Emmis NY going on Five years covering major events that took place with 98.7 KISS FM, HOT 97, and now our New Rock station 101.9 RXP. Only few have the power to maintain longevity in this often unpredictable industry... And I am one of the few!!! Thank You for tuning in !!!
R. Marcus A. Harris may very well be the most culturally diverse member on the team. Through his travels as a military dependant of his mother, he learned to love and appreciate various cultures throughout the world.
Before graduating Bay Shore High School in Long Island , he attended 10 different schools. Marcus put himself through college by continuously working various jobs. He received his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Suffolk County Community College in 2001 and received his Bachelor's in Media and Mass Communications in 2004.
Marcus joined Kiss FM in 2005 mostly working in the office assisting with winners, training interns, establishing new contacts, writing public service announcements(PSA'S), introducing new initiatives for Kiss and their listeners to get involved in, among a myriad of other behind-the-scenes activities.
A Panamanian/Cuban native from the heart of the New York City . Lamarr is a graduate from NYC Tech., and holding down two jobs. “I love working for Kiss Fm for three major reasons. I have a strong passion for music, an ability to grow within the company, and the opportunity to meet all “on-air” personalities, artists, and actors etc.
The fact that I deal with listeners between both jobs on a “one on one” basis shows that I have the potential to not only listen to what people want but also provide them with what they want as well. I love getting listeners excited and motivated to turn the radio on again and tune into 98.7 Kiss FM. With each approaching day I continue my working experience and hopefully land my dream job with Emmis in the Marketing Field, showing both my drawing and imaginative skills. So until then I will strive for success and keep you moving in the streets.
My name is Jason Paulino but everyone knows me best as “Jay”. I'm a creative Capricorn who is definitely old enough to be “Kissing After Dark”. I'm a proud father of a soon to be two year old and very eager to continue being the hard worker that I am. I aim to please and never disappoint, nor be disappointed by others. I am a man of many talents and a jack of all trades who is eager and willing to delve into interesting areas and meet new and exciting people. Although I have not decided on an area of concentration, the Sales Department is definitely on my way list of things to accomplish and I am aiming for the top. I'm enjoying a wide variety of jobs and am dedicated to always executing the best to my highest potential.
During my brief, but pleasurable time with 98.7 Kiss FM I've had the opportunity to have a variety of good experiences. I love working our Kiss events and meeting YOU, the people. I find events to be extremely enjoyable you learn something new from your listeners everyday. From edifying on how strategically to promote the 98.7 Kiss FM, Promoting our clients, and entertaining YOU the listener. We all play our part in making 98.7 Kiss FM a very fun, exciting and most importantly productive environment. Though I'm a rookie to 98.7 Kiss FM I'm never afraid of new challenges or large crowds.
Nowella Shaunte' Young, born of Monica M. Doe, has been in the Entertainment "Radio" field for almost a decade. She's gone from
Producing, to programming to Hosting her own Gospel Hip-Hop radio show, to DJing live shows and weddings etc. She's worked in just about every department there is in Radio. Shaunte' is a very talented young lady that continues to strive to make it to the top in this industry; just like the woman she calls her 2nd mom, Toya Beasley.
Ms. Young is a Drummer/Percussionist, Actress, Gospel Rapper, as well as a
DJ; just to name a few talents she currently holds. She is the percussionist @ Perfecting Faith Church located in Freeport LI, NY under the leadership of her Pastor Donnie McClurkin.
Most importantly she is a Christian that is determined to keep GOD 1st in her life. One of her quotes is," I talk the talk, & I definitely walk the walk; I'm the realist Christian M.C you ever will meet".
