The Newark Police Department has a special Crime Stoppers Unit to operate the hotline and track down felons indentified through it. Callers are not asked their name, but instead recieve a code number to be eligible to collect a reward of up to $2000 anonymously.

3. Recieve a 4 digit pin number.
4. Call back a month later and if your information led to an arrest, you receive another 4 digit pin number
