They say find something you love and try to make a career of it, that
is just what Lenny Green did. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lenny Green
had a passion for music and this love managed to take him into the broadcast
industry. Lenny attended Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn where
he studied Broadcast management.
After college Lenny worked behind the scenes at New York's
Channel 5, he hosted two music video shows and played the part of a disc
jockey in the longest running Off-Broadway production, "Mama I Want
To Sing." In the mid 1980's Lenny decided to spread his devotion
into the scene of radio, which has taken him from Virginia to Connecticut.
Upon perfecting and sharpening his skills, Lenny came back home to the
city where he has remained ever since, joining the KISS FM on-air staff
in 1994.
He has proven that his love for music has made him one of the best in
the broadcast industry, receiving Billboard Magazine's 1999 Air Personality
of the Year Award. Outside of radio, some other things that Lenny has
a love for is acting, cross-country skiing, playing tennis and encouraging
children to pursue their dreams.
Now you can hear our "Love Man" weekdays from 7PM to 2AM playing
smooth and soulful slow jams during KISSing After Dark on 98.7 KISS FM.
