A native New Yorker of the South Bronx he began his career as a hobby in 1985 spinning for the residents of Forest Houses at a basketball court called “THE BLUE COURTS”.

In 1987 he contracted his DJ skills to perform for private events inside community centers in nearby neighborhoods as well as the upscale catering halls and small clubs of the Metropolitan area. One of his earliest achievements in the early 90’s was a function sponsored by the legendary Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre presented in honor of Mayor David Dinkins. During the mid 90’s Chris Love began spinning for athletes, singers, politicians, actors and actresses, comedians, and concert after parties. He quickly began working with New York City’s popular promoters at celebrated establishments such as Tavern on the Green, the Boathouse located on the grounds of Central Park, Roseland, The Theatre of Madison Square Garden, Manhattan Center, Club Roxy and numerous 4 star hotels. In 1996 another highlight was an event for the New York Knicks basketball team. During the same time Chris Love became one of the 1st DJ’S out of NYC to work with established tour companies that promoted ski-weekend getaways as well as summer crab and lobster weekend getaways that keeps him very busy up to now during the winter and summer seasons.

In 1998 another huge achievement was a NBA ALL-STAR party in NYC at Bridgewater located in the South Street Seaport area with singers Jon B and Destiny’s Child performing and many celebrities and basketball players in attendance. During this time, his DJ skills carried him to the Caribbean Islands such as the Jamaican Grande Resort in Jamaica where he opened up for Motown’s recording R&B group PROFYLE. He also played in San Juan Puerto Rico, many clubs in the Bahamas and countless cruises with Carnival Cruise Lines as well as cruises to nowhere out of NYC.

Entering the new millennium the highlight for Chris Love was becoming a master mixer for 98.7 KISS FM on Memorial Weekend in 2003. On the month of June to the end of August of 2003 he was live on radio spinning every Friday for the Midday Café Mix on the “Miss Thing” Diana King show. It was the biggest achievement of his career knowing that all 5 boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey was listening to his style of play. Thanks to his friend Talent, a comedian and radio personality on the Wake Up Club on KISS FM spread the word to the Executives and his Boss on his behalf and became his personal DJ for KISS Tuesdays as well as Michael Baisden personal DJ for all his events in the tri-state area whose also a radio personality on KISS FM. On June of 2004 DJ Chris Love played on a 7 day cruise for Michael Baisden with a line up that consist of R&B acts Rolls Royce and Silk and on July of 2005 played on another 7 day cruise for Michael Baisden with the Whispers and Con Funk Shun.

He currently possesses all rights to his own “mixed” CD, which features the hottest sounds in R&B, classics, hip hop, reggae, house music and slow jams. He has entertained people from different backgrounds, continues to motivate the crowds throughout the clubs and high profiled events and continues to be one of the most sought after party DJ in New York City
