My Ode To Our Beloved Michael Jackson

So Im sitting here with so many memories and too little space to write....
My heart bleeds for the boy I felt worthy of writing a letter to while dressed up in my Easter outfit sitting on my plastic covered couch leg crossed (so he would think I was older )(lol) I wrote “Dear Michael you’ll probably never get this letter …” Ironically there was a song he released that began the same way and YOU COULD NOT TELL ME THAT SONG WASN’T DIRECTED TO ME!!!!(lol) I have always been the self professed Mrs.Michael Jackson to be…like so many of my sisters J
I’ve loved him with a childs’ heart, lived every lyric and every tune
and now as a woman I weep a well for a man that’s simply gone too soon.
Our Beloved Michael Jackson will forever be regarded as
The ultimate, unwavering creative entertainer of all time.
There has YET to be another artist that has succeeded in transcending and uniting generations of every race, creed and color.
Although misunderstood and tormented because of it, I pray that we won’t allow personal battles to overshadow the one truth that we know to be true.
He is the greatest contributor to Pop Culture and a talent of Iconic proportions. I feel honored and blessed to have lived in his lifetime because I don’t know that we will ever see another one like him in yours or mine.
The title “WORLDS GREATEST ENTERTAINER” was earned and paid for with a life lived in plain sight.
And what I know for sure is that this is a loss that is felt deeply no matter if you’re black or white.
God Bless Him, I pray for his children and his family
May the Love of God enfold them and the light of God show them to a place of peace.
