Felix Hernandez has produced and hosted his long-running Rhythm Revue since 1986. He also produced BluesStage, an award-winning live blues and R&B series hosted by the late singer and actress Ruth Brown, and by writer and director Melvin Van Peebles.

Now in its 25th year on New York metro radio, Rhythm Revue's blend of classic soul and R&B music received the March of Dimes A.I.R. (Achievement in Radio) Award for the Best Weekend Program in New York, and was named New York's Best Radio Show by New York Magazine.

Felix's Rhythm Revue dances, the biggest and longest-running old school parties in New York, consistently draw thousands of dancers to Roseland and other night spots around town. The dances began in 1991 and are now in their 20th season.
