Today on Judge Alex, James claims his former landlord Shelia refused to return his deposit because he is white and Shelia is black and she’s a racist. James says he left his apartment soon after he moved in because the noise from his neighbors drove him “insane.” James also claims Shelia agreed to reimburse his deposit but then used the “race card” and kept his money. Sheila denies she’s the racist, and claims James is the racist and moved because he did not like living in a “black” neighborhood. Sheila alleges James lied about the noise to get out of his lease but James claims Shelia never wanted a white tenant in the first place because she warned him not to move into her “black” neighborhood. Kenneth is on Judge Alex today to sue his son Kenny for unpaid loans and bail money. Kenneth says Kenny has been to jail several times and has anger issues. Kenneth even had to call the police after Kenny got physical with him. Kenneth claims he has financially helped Kenny hoping he would get his act together only to be disappointed by Kenny’s troubles. Kenny says he repaid his father some of the money he borrowed but stopped when his dad used his credit card to by an engagement ring for his evil stepmother, Carol. Harvey says he left his ex-fiancé Cynthia after he realized she was a “shopaholic” who bought expensive purses, clothes and shoes, which drove them apart. Harvey claims Cynthia told him she would pay for their wedding only to renege and borrow money from Harvey. Harvey is now suing Cynthia for $5,000 he loaned to Cynthia for her wedding and for home repairs. Cynthia claims the money Harvey gave her was his half of their wedding expenses and not a loan for home repairs. Cynthia admits she did spend some money for repairs only because she spent most of her money on their upcoming wedding. Cynthia is countering Harvey because he backed out of their wedding. Nicole alleges her ex-boyfriend Roderick only dated her so she would give him money which Nicole claims Roderick “manipulated” her into doing so and as soon as Nicole loaned Roderick money, Roderick stopped calling. Nicole says Roderick signed a promissory note but refuses to pay her back. Now Nicole wants justice and wants Judge Alex to rule on her side. Roderick says he gave Nicole his time and free advice and believes he should be paid like a “psychiatrist”. Roderick denies he stopped calling and says Nicole stopped talking him. On the next session of Judge Alex, Lanesha says she loaned her ex-girlfriend Benita’s new girlfriend, Kissy, money to bail Benita out of jail. Lanesha claims that when Kissy got the bail money back from the jail, she refused to return the money to Lanesha and bought a plasma TV instead. Lanesha also alleges Kissy threatened her after she asked for her money back. Kissy says she does not owe Lanesah anything because she took care of Benita’s kids while Benita was in jail and they both had an agreement Kissy would keep the money as payment for her child care services. Benita claims Kissy did not take care of her kids while she was in jail. (SHOW #3065)
